By Jack Wylde
The advertisement has become an inevitable part of the business world. It is very important for improving the business conditions and also improves the buying ability of the customers. The earlier ways of advertising were through the television and the newspapers. But now a major share of the ads is published on the various websites in the internet. Since many people use the internet frequently, it is a very successful mode of advertising. There are many ways to advertise through internet itself. It is one's smartness to go for the cheapest as well as very effective way. This article suggests some tips on how to save money on online advertisements.
This can be done easily by simply following few instructions or tips that are given in the following paragraphs. Always there are some ways that can be taken advantage of the ways to your benefit to spend less money and get more profit. In this we discuss three main factors that need some change for using it more economically.
The first is the cost of the keywords. The keywords generally increase the number of people visiting the site. Therefore more popular words need more money to be paid. Generally, the keywords can be chosen by you and bid for it.
Sometimes there may be a limited budget and therefore you can do a research for the words that are related to the site. These words may be cheap but could be related to the content of the site. You can get hold of words that are searched for often but still not be very costly. This way you can have more clicks spending the same money. The word must be competitive and make sure many people search for that particular word. Therefore make a proper decision in choosing the word.
There are some sites that provide free advertising. The websites give some free advertisements. Many social networks are examples of this. Facebook does a great job in free advertising. It has many people who are in the site can and can also view the ad. You can also promote your product or organisation to the family and friends. Also recruit some people in charge of posting the link and comments to your group. It can help you in two ways. Firstly, it will increase the traffic to the site. Secondly, it will also increase the ranking of the sites in the search engines when you add some backlinks. Therefore take advantage of this type of advertising.
Another way to do free ads is by some sites that have promotional codes. For this search for some sites like Google and yahoo Adsense that give you some money freely for ads. In this, you need to be signed up to such a site. Check out the codes for ads. Some sites give space worth hundred dollars. This is a nice way to start advertising. These links must be recent since they might expired soon.

Web advertising?
Can someone help please?
I need a couple of good realestate rellated web-sites for advertising my company. Thanks
The only individuals making easy money on the web are private porn sites, webcams (pay per minute) and Stephen King.
I have a few friends – female bodybuilders – with soft core sites. Topless stuff, posing, etc. They make an extra $1000 a month or so, plus another $500-$800 for webcams.
Subscription based sites make the most, but what can you offer that’s unique? Plus, unless you have a really good merchant deal, you’ll pay .35 per transaction, plus 4%-6% of the gross. A $1 sale – the bank will profit more than you do. You need a micropayment account – and that requires volume.
The bottom line – you need a UNIQUE service, or one that is so popular, the market can handle another site.
What does the acronym POV or POB stand for in Web advertising?
I heard someone say “POB” or “POV” in the context of a discussion about Web advertising. Can someone please tell me what this means?
Also, any suggestions for sites where I can learn the ins and outs and terminology of this medium? I am new at this but trying to get a job in the field.
Many thanks.
pob may be POST OFFICE BOX

Try this site:
searchenginewatch.com
That’s a good place to start, so you won’t make any mistakes when first making your web site.
There’s lots of ways to advertise your site, from paying to asking for reciprocal links for free…but watch out for the “link farms” where you can sign up for reciprocal links and they take yours…google will not be happy.
Don’t pay for search engine submission…do it yourself to only three search engines: yahoo, google and msn. All the little search engines will crawl the big guys with time. With google it may take up to six months before they recognize your site…so when you get your site, enter it into google.
Make sure your keywords match your content on each page you have on your site. meta keywords.
I’ve also found htmlgoodies real helpful to make yourself a site. Don’t go for the “What you see is what you get” Template sites: wysiwyg If too many people have that same templet, google thinks of your site as being “spam” site.
Hmmm…well that’s enough for today…you’ve got lots to learn.
Wish you the best.
web advertising?
Lately Yahoo has been inserting ads that: a) expand across what I’m reading; b) take over my speakers and yell ads at me. How can I block that advertisement? Is there a service that won’t advertise all over me?
Use Firefox browser, and then get the AdBlock Extention, you can find it here. http://www.basicspywaretips.com/firefoxextensions.html
How can I efficiently learn about the business of online advertising for a health Web site I am developing?
I have a marketing background, so don’t need a general marketing course. I need to know the products, language, terms, metrics, etc… of online advertising in 2007. For example, what categories of advertising “products” exist? What kinds of fees can be charged, how are fees determined (I know based on traffic, clicks, but more specifically…?) How is Web advertising marketed/sold to advertisers, particularly in the health and medicine arena. I want a primer on the subject, but would also like to see some quantitative examples relevant to the business in 2007. A “Dummys” book would be a good start, but an up-to-date one doesn’t exist. Maybe there are 1-2 day courses. I found one via a Google search, but maybe someone out there has a recommendation. I’m not too worried about cost, as long as I can get up the learning curve quickly. Many thanks to all who will answer!

How does web traffic and advertising work, and does it work well?
How does web advertising work. I seen one ad where you go to the site, and someone wrote short stories and was charging 1.00 for each to read online, and another answers site where you ask a question and say how much you will pay for the answer. I wonder if it works and if it does how, and is it legal? Thanks for answering…
